Analysis Screen

The combustion analyzer G4 ICARUS CS TF is designed for the automatic determination of carbon and sulphur in a wide range of solid substances. The sample, weighed into in a standard ceramic boat is combusted -depending on the material together with an accelerator- in a high temperature tube furnace in an oxygen stream.

The temperature of the furnace is continuously adjustable up to approx. 1.500°C. The resulting reaction gases CO2 and SO2 are measured by solid-state IR detectors of maximum selectivity and sensitivity. The system is characterized by an easy operation and automatic evaluation by means of an external PC.

The Application

The G4 ICARUS CS TF is suitable for both, simultaneous or individual elemental analysis of carbon and sulphur in a nearly unlimited range of materials, e.g. ores, steel, iron, alloys, ceramics, cement, limestone, and many more.

The Software

The analysis software of the G4 ICARUS CS TF is clear and simply structured. All tasks to be performed by the software are clearly divided into four different screens.
